Remote Model

These models are installed similar to a traditional central vacuum system. A vacuum inlet valve is installed in a convenient place, for example in the living room, while the power unit is mounted on the other side of the wall or further away. A 2 inch flexible hose connects the vacuum inlet valve with the power unit. When the hose is plugged into the inlet valve the vacuum power unit is automatically turned on. Ideal for the basement of an R/V or the engine room in a yacht. One power unit takes care of between 900 and 1400 square feet depending on the layout.

Flush Mounted Remote Models are to be hard-wired into an electrical outlet or to a circuit breaker. Surface Mounted Remote Models are supplied with an electric cord for easy power connection.

The unique stretch hose shrinks from forty feet to just eight feet for easy storage and the one piece telescoping aluminum wand prevents cracking or rusting while the adjustable feature prevents back and muscle pain. All InterVac accessories are designed for optimal space saving.
